• Leave I-93 Northbound at EXIT 26 (Cambridge/Storrow Drive).
• Keep LEFT at end of ramp and take underpass to STORROW DRIVE.
• Continue on Storrow Drive ~ 4 miles to Cambridge/Allston.
• Take the CAMBRIDGE/ALLSTON exit, turning right at end of ramp onto JOHN F. KENNEDY Street. Go over bridge and head into Harvard Square. Keep going straight, through the middle of Harvard Square.
• As you pass alongside Harvard Yard, stay in the LEFT LANE and bear LEFT at the fork, then keep to the RIGHT.
• Staying RIGHT, go through light and blend onto MASS. Avenue.
• Go through one light; at the 2ND LIGHT, turn RIGHT onto EVERETT Street. At the next light, at the end of the street, OXFORD Street crosses.

From the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) Eastbound:

• Leave Mass Turnpike at EXIT 18.
• Bear RIGHT after toll booth at end of exit ramp.
• Turn LEFT after lights (before the bridge) onto STORROW Drive. You'll be heading west.
• Go ~ 0.5 mile and take the CAMBRIDGE/ALLSTON exit, turning right at end of ramp onto JOHN F. KENNEDY Street. Go over bridge and head into Harvard Square. Keep going straight, through the middle of Harvard Square.
• As you pass alongside Harvard Yard, stay in the LEFT LANE and bear LEFT at the fork, then keep to the RIGHT.
• Staying RIGHT, go through light and blend onto MASS. Avenue.

Directions from the Harvard Square subway (a.k.a. "T") station to Conant Lab 107, Greg Verdine's office (a 5-minute walk):

• There are two exits from this station. Exit via the turnstiles leading to Harvard Yard/Church Street.Once through the turnstiles, turn LEFT and ascend via the exit labeled HARVARD YARD (as opposed to the Church St. exit on right).  Once above ground, proceed straight ~20-30 feet; enter Harvard Yard, via a gate on right.
• Once in the Yard, facing forward, angle yourself 45 degrees to the left and follow the asphalt pathway going in that 45-degree angle direction.
• In a couple of minutes you'll pass through another gate, exiting the Yard. You'll be facing the Science Center. However, you'll want to keep walking in the general direction of that original 45-degree angle, keeping the Science Center on your LEFT. At the same time, you'll see a large deep-red-brick structure -- Memorial Hall -- on your RIGHT. Stay on the pathway running BETWEEN the Sci. Ctr. and Mem. Hall.
• In just another minute you'll arrive at a street corner. This is actually the convergence of two streets, with Oxford Street going leftward, alongside the Sci. Center. Cross at this corner, and proceed up Oxford Street.
• Once on Oxford (on opposite side of street from Sci. Ctr., which will be on your LEFT), you'll be walking alongside red-brick Lowell Lecture Hall on your RIGHT. In just a few steps, immediately behind Lowell, you'll see a concrete pathway leading off to the RIGHT, between Lowell and another brick building. Turn RIGHT onto this pathway.
• Proceed up pathway; soon you'll be walking between yet another brick building on your left (Conant Lab, which is so labeled, and which runs perpendicular to Oxford St.), and a gray fence on your right. Enter Conant through the door on left, at the far end of the building.
• Go up 1/2 flight of stairs to the 1st floor and exit the stairwell.  Greg Verdine's office (Conant Lab, 107) is immediately on the right.

• Once on the sidewalk facing the front door of 12 Oxford Street (Mallinckrodt Lab, with a glass door and red sign with No. 12 on it), turn RIGHT and walk to the end of the building. Turn LEFT and walk up the concrete pathway you come to.
• Proceed up pathway; soon you'll be walking between yet another brick building on your left (Conant Lab, which is so labeled, and which runs perpendicular to Oxford St.), and a gray fence on your right. Enter Conant through the door on left, at the far end of the building.
